Our Research Network Footprint

CREA-N provides sponsors, researchers, and health partners with access to a growing network of clinical research centres across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Through a combination of owned research centers, hybrid models, and strategic partnerships, we deliver consistent, high-quality research execution while expanding access to underrepresented populations. Our network is designed to generate locally relevant evidence, accelerate study delivery, and strengthen research capacity across the region.

Kisumu

The CREA-N Kisumu Site is strategically positioned adjacent to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH), the leading tertiary referral hospital in Western Kenya, serving a catchment population exceeding 10 million people. The region is endemic for malaria and has a high prevalence of sickle cell disease, alongside a growing burden of infectious and non-communicable diseases. This provides access to diverse and representative patient populations across multiple therapeutic areas. Combined with a well-established culture of research participation and community engagement, this positions Kisumu as a highly attractive location for the conduct of impactful clinical research.
